Day 1 of 7

Met at Noi Bai International Airport. City tour: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum from outside), the former stilt-house residence, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university, 1070), then a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake. Optional evening on Ta Hien Street. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Trang An and Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B)

Day 2 of 7

Three-hour sampan ride at Trang An, then Hoa Lu and the Dinh and Le Temples. Mid-afternoon return. Overnight in Hanoi.

Danang - Marble Mountain, Basket Boat & Hoi An (B)

Visit Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) with its caves, Linh Ung Pagoda and panoramic views and Am Phu Cave, a basket boat ride at Cam Thanh village, then Hoi An Ancient Town and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Overnight in Danang.

Danang - Golden Bridge & Ba Na Hills - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Day 5 of 7

08:00 drive to Ba Na Hills by one of the world's longest cable cars. Visit the Golden Bridge, Le Jardin D'Amour (9 gardens) and Linh Ung Pagoda, then the French Village and Fantasy Park. 15:00 return to your hotel.

Then transfer to Danang Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Go up Ba Na early; book the HCMC flight for the evening to allow the full Ba Na visit.

Explore the Mekong Delta & Brief City Tour (B)

Day 6 of 7

08:00 head to My Tho and board a boat on the Mekong River past the four islands and Rach Mieu Bridge. On Thoi Son (Unicorn Island) enjoy honey tea; on An Hoa Island a coconut candy workshop, horse-carriage ride, tropical fruit, traditional music and a sampan canal ride. Stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda. Return around 17:00.

Then a brief city tour: Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

AM Cu Chi Tu els & Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Day 7 of 7

Morning at the Cu Chi Tu els, the underground network used during the Vietnam War, toured with your local guide, free time for shopping, then transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport.
