Welcome to Hanoi - PM City Tour (D)

Day 1 of 5

On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel to leave luggage. (Early check-in and breakfast are NOT included.)

At 13:30, start the city tour: Ba Dinh Square, the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum from outside only, closed afternoons and all day Monday and Friday), the house-on-stilts, fishpond and One-Pillar Pagoda, then the Temple of Literature (founded 1070). Take a 1-hour cyclo ride through the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Optional evening: local beer at Ta Hien Street with live music, or shopping.

Hanoi - Trang An and Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh - Hanoi (B, D)

Day 2 of 5

After breakfast, a 2-hour drive through countryside to the pier for a three-hour sampan ride through the Trang An ecological site, with more than 30 valleys, 50 cross-water caves and rich biodiversity, surrounded by forested mountains.

Afternoon visit to Hoa Lu, capital of Vietnam under the Dinh and Le Dynasties (968-1009 AD): palaces, pagodas, tombs and the Dinh and Le Temples. Mid-afternoon transfer back to Hanoi.

Hanoi - Quang Phu Cau Village and Van Phuc Village - Hanoi (B, D)

Day 3 of 5

After breakfast, at 08:30 AM head out for a half-day tour to Quang Phu Cau incense village on the outskirts of Hanoi. Arrive 09:30-10:00 for a guided walk, watching locals craft incense from bamboo chopping to dyeing, paste-making and sun-drying, and learn the village's history.

Around noon, transfer to Van Phuc Village, known for traditional sericulture, weaving and premium silk. Stroll the village to see families weaving and dyeing silk and the stages of handmade silk-making, with free time for shopping. 16:00: Return to Hanoi, remainder of the afternoon at leisure.

Hanoi - Halong Bay Day Cruise 6 Hours - Hanoi (B, L) - Group Tour

Day 4 of 5

07:30-07:45: Pick-up from hotel and depart for Tuan Chau Island, Halong City, with a rest stop on the way. 12:30: Board at Tuan Chau Harbor, safety briefing, and enjoy a 5-6 hour cruise with a Vietnamese lunch on board.

13:45: Arrive Bo Hon archipelago; visit Surprising Cave, go kayaking or take a bamboo boat in Luon Cave, visit Titov Island and climb Titov Peak for panoramic views. 16:30: Return cruise for afternoon tea. 17:45: Disembark for the bus ride back to Hanoi. 21:30: Drop off at hotel.

Hanoi - Free & Depart Hanoi (B)

Day 5 of 5

Free time at leisure until pick-up by driver and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your departure flight or onward journey.
