Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City - PM Cu Chi Tu els (no meal)

Day 1 of 1

Met at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Afternoon at the Cu Chi Tu els, the underground network used during the Vietnam War, toured with your local guide, then check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Cu Chi is ~1.5h each way, confirm the flight lands by midday. Optional shooting range is paid on site.

Explore the Mekong Delta & Brief City Tour (B)

Day 2 of 1

08:00 head to My Tho and board a boat on the Mekong River past the four islands and Rach Mieu Bridge. On Thoi Son (Unicorn Island) enjoy honey tea; on An Hoa Island a coconut candy workshop, horse-carriage ride, tropical fruit, traditional music and a sampan canal ride. Stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda. Return around 17:00.

Back in the city at ~16:00, visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

AM Flight to Hanoi - PM City Tour (B)

Day 3 of 1

Flight to Hanoi. At 13:30 city tour: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum from outside), the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university, 1070), then a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake. Overnight in Hanoi.

Mausoleum closes Mon/Fri afternoons. Domestic flight excluded, quote separately.

Hanoi - Trang An and Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B)

Day 4 of 1

Three-hour sampan ride at Trang An, then Hoa Lu and the Dinh and Le Temples. Mid-afternoon return. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Halong Bay Day Cruise 6 Hours - Hanoi (B, L) - Group Tour

Day 5 of 1

Expressway transfer to Tuan Chau Harbor; board the day cruise with lunch. Visit the Surprising Cave, Titov Island and its peak, and kayak or take a bamboo boat at Luon Cave. Evening drive back to Hanoi (~21:30).
