Day 1 of 10

Met at Noi Bai International Airport and transferred to your hotel. (Early check-in and breakfast not included.) Afternoon city tour: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum from outside), the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university, 1070), then a walk through the Old Quarter. Optional evening on Ta Hien Street. Overnight in Hanoi.

Mausoleum closes Mon/Fri afternoons. Domestic flights are excluded throughout, quote them separately.

Hanoi - Trang An and Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B)

Day 2 of 10

Three-hour sampan ride at Trang An, then Hoa Lu and the Dinh and Le Temples. Mid-afternoon return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Halong Bay Day Cruise 6 Hours - Hanoi (B, L) - Group Tour

Day 3 of 10

Expressway transfer to Tuan Chau Harbor; board the Cozy Bay Premium Cruise with buffet lunch. Visit the Surprising Cave, Titov Island and its peak, and kayak or take a bamboo boat at Luon Cave. Evening drive back to Hanoi (~21:30). Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Flight to Danang - Marble Mountain, Hoi An & Lantern Boat (B)

Day 4 of 10

Afternoon flight to Danang. Visit the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son), Linh Ung Pagoda and Am Phu Cave (Heaven and Hell). Continue to Hoi An Ancient Town, the Japanese Covered Bridge and a lantern sampan ride. Overnight in Danang.

Danang - Golden Bridge & Ba Na Hills - Danang (B)

08:00 to Ba Na Hills by cable car: the Golden Bridge, Le Jardin D'Amour, Linh Ung Pagoda, the French Village and Fantasy Park. 15:00 return. Overnight in Danang.

Go up early to beat Golden Bridge crowds. Cable car can pause in high wind, keep the afternoon flexible.

Danang - Flight to Siem Reap - Transfer to Hotel (B)

Day 6 of 10

Flight to Siem Reap, transfer to hotel. Late afternoon explore the Night Market and Pub Street. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap - Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm - Bakheng Sunset (B)

08:00 visit Angkor Thom: the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Baphuon and the Bayon Temple (smiling stone faces), masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. Continue to Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider temple). Afternoon at Angkor Wat, then sunset at Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City - PM City Tour (B)

Day 8 of 10

Afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh City. City tour: the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Notre Dame is under restoration (exterior only). Ben Thanh is a strong shopping stop, allow extra time.

Cu Chi Tu els & Mekong Delta (My Tho) (B)

Day 9 of 10

07:00 visit the Cu Chi Tu els, the Vietnam War underground network. Then to My Tho for a Mekong River boat trip: Thoi Son (Unicorn Island) honey tea, An Hoa Island coconut candy workshop, horse-carriage ride, fruit and traditional music, and a sampan canal ride. Stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda. Return ~18:00. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
