Day 1 of 12

Met at Noi Bai International Airport and transferred to your hotel. (Early check-in and breakfast not included.) Afternoon city tour: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum from outside), the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature (1070), then a walk through the Old Quarter. Optional evening on Ta Hien Street. Overnight in Hanoi.

Mausoleum closes Mon/Fri afternoons. The 2 domestic flights are excluded, quote them separately.

Hanoi - Trang An and Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B)

Day 2 of 12

Three-hour sampan ride at Trang An, then Hoa Lu and the Dinh and Le Temples. Mid-afternoon return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)

Day 3 of 12

Transfer to Tuan Chau Port and board Le Journey Cruise. Lunch on board, visit the Surprising Cave and Titov Island, then a sunset party and cooking class.

Morning kayaking at Luon Cave, brunch, disembark at Tuan Chau Marina and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Danang. On arrival, visit Hoi An Ancient Town, the Japanese Covered Bridge and a lantern sampan ride.

08:00 to Ba Na Hills by cable car: the Golden Bridge, Le Jardin D'Amour, Linh Ung Pagoda, the French Village and Fantasy Park. 15:00 return.

Danang - Flight to Siem Reap - Transfer to Hotel (B)

Flight to Siem Reap, transfer to hotel. Late afternoon explore the Night Market and Pub Street.

Siem Reap - Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm - Bakheng Sunset (B)

08:00 visit Angkor Thom: the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Baphuon and the Bayon Temple (smiling stone faces). Continue to Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider temple). Afternoon at Angkor Wat, then sunset at Phnom Bakheng.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap - City Tour - Tonle Sap - Transfer to Phnom Penh (B)

Morning boat trip to a floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake, then the shrine of Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chom and the 19th-century Wat Bo. Afternoon coach to Phnom Penh; di er at a local restaurant.

City tour: the Royal Palace, Throne Hall, Napoleon III Pavilion and Silver Pagoda; the Independence Monument, King Norodom Statue, Chaktomuk Riverside, NagaWorld and Wat Phnom. Afternoon: the Choeung Ek Memorial, the Central Market and the Russian Market.

08:30 to My Tho for a Mekong River boat trip: Thoi Son (Unicorn Island) honey tea, An Hoa Island coconut candy workshop, horse-carriage ride, fruit and traditional music, and a sampan canal ride. Stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda. Return ~18:00.

AM Cu Chi Tu els - Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Day 12 of 12

Morning visit to the Cu Chi Tu els, the Vietnam War underground network, with your guide. Return to the city for free time, then transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure flight.
